What is a hustler to you?

To me, a hustler is someone who is not afraid to go after what they want and they are willing to do whatever they have to in order to achieve their goals, even if it means juggling multiple things at once.

What has been your biggest hurdle?

My biggest hurdle has been overcoming the disappointment of not being

supported. It took me a while to realize that my biggest supporters would come from strangers. I had to struggle to accept the fact that not everyone wants you to win. Once, I got past that I was able to move forward without hesitation.

Words you'd give to another woman starting a business?

In the words of Steve Harvey: Jump! You will never know what you can be or accomplish until you try. The saying life is short should constantly be on your mind. Do whatever it is that you desire whether someone supports you or not. If it is your vision and your goal then go after it!

About You and Your business

I have been an educator for 12 years teaching business & finance to high school students. Business and helping others is my passion! I've been in the business industry for over 20 years. I've worked in several business fields and started several small businesses. My first business was an errand service in early 2000. This was well before the companies we have today. Most recently, in 2017, I organized a nonprofit organization Black Business Professionals of SETX. Our mission focuses on recognizing, supporting, and networking for Black business owners and Professionals in SETX as well as mentoring the youth. I've also operated Senoj Professional Business Services for over 20 years. We specialize in business consulting, website creation and maintenance, social media marketing, business formation and computer training. I consider myself a woman of many hats and a Hustler due to my skill sets, knowledge and experience.

Whats one thing you do that never fails you and helps you hustle harder?

When I know someone is trying to stop me or hurt me I hustle harder!

What kind of woman do you strive to be?

I striving to be the woman God called me to be. I'm not perfect, I never will be, and neither will anyone else. So, I try to remain humble, a servant and grateful.

What makes you a hustler

I'm a hustler because I operate several small businesses. I love learning new things and not afraid to try something new. I worked three jobs in one day 4 days a week for almost 3 years while battling health issues. I would teach from 7 to 3, do bookkeeping for a small business from 4 to 5 and then teach at a college from 5:30 to 10 Monday through Thursday. Sometimes I had Saturday classes that I taught as well. In the midst of all of that I worked my personal business from home.

What would you tell your younger self?

I would tell my younger self what I tell people now. Don't wait. Get out there and do it! You can be and do whatever you want. Experience life, chase dreams. You only get on life and it is short. Make it count!

What is your vision for your business

I see my business being a premier option for people who need my services. I want my clients to choose me because they know they will be treated fairly.
